The model has not yet entered into widespread use, and it is not known whether it will remain in fashion for long. But jeans with a zipper in the back have undeniable advantages:
- emphasizing the forms - such a zipper separates, beautifully fits the buttocks, emphasizing the shape, making them more expressive. The high waist, complemented by a tight belt, tightens the stomach and hides extra centimeters on the sides;
- sexuality and audacity - a girl in such trousers gives the impression of being bold and liberated. This cannot but intrigue, seeing such a person, a man will involuntarily pay attention to her;
- Fantasies come true - the model is convenient for sexual experiments.
The model also has its downsides. Women's jeans with a zipper at the back look great on slender girls with long legs, a thin waist, but at the same time - with a beautiful rounded back. On plump or, on the contrary, too thin persons the effect will be completely different. The same applies to girls with a flat bottom and boyish hips. Another limitation is age. If at 20-25 years old such a model will emphasize youth and audacity, then on those who are over 40 it will look a little strange.
As for the fear that jeans with a zipper on the butt can unzip themselves (or someone decides to joke) at the wrong moment, this is impossible with a quality model - the zipper is reliable and convenient. A short leather jacket, a biker jacket, a top, or a sweatshirt are suitable for walks. Depending on the chosen look, almost any shoes will complement the trousers – both sports and feminine. Stilettos are suitable for a date or going to a club, moccasins or ballet flats are suitable for walks, and pumps are suitable for the office. Cropped jeans will look great with loafers, sandals with a strap around the ankle.
The worst combination for such trousers is a tunic or an elongated blouse, even if it reaches at least to the middle of the thigh. With such a choice, the jeans will lose all their zest.
History of appearance
Jeans with a zipper in the back were invented in 2016 by Demna Gvasalia, a fashion designer, co-founder of the underground French brand Vetements, and author of many provocative collections. Oversized items, skinny jeans with holes in the buttocks, teenage, subcultural items – Gvasalia has never adhered to generally accepted standards.
The new product was invented with the participation of the Levi's brand.
In its original form, the model resembled loose-fitting cowboy pants. Sewn from several pieces of different colors and textures, with uneven edges on the legs, they had, in addition to a zipper at the back, several more quite functional ones. Unbuttoned locks were located on the legs in front and back.
The hype has drawn attention to jeans, and many fashion designers have borrowed the idea, making it even sexier - in the form of feminine, tight-fitting skinnies. Whether such pants are worth having in your wardrobe - each girl will decide for herself, but one thing is certain: you won't be able to go unnoticed in them.
