Jeans are a universal item of clothing that has equalized different social classes - they are worn by workers, intellectuals, they can be worn at the dacha, for a walk around the city. They go with different types of tops, be it a sweater, shirt or blouse. Nowadays, there is a wide variety of denim clothing of different colors, styles and cuts. Jeans are equally loved by both sexes. But before buying this clothing, you should know how to distinguish men's jeans from women's, since sometimes the difference is not obvious. Sometimes it can be difficult to catch it by appearance, the decor and cut do not always clearly indicate whether the trousers are men's or women's.

Buttons

Men need a more secure fit around the waist, so men's models have at least seven belt loops. Sometimes there are even more of them, so that the trousers fit well.
Cut and size
Based on the outlines of the female and male figures, the construction of the pattern for men and women differs. Women's jeans, unlike men's, have a tighter silhouette. The transition from the waist to the hips is visible. Men's are often straight cut. If you fold the jeans in half, holding them along the back seam, you can see that the outlines of the women's model are more curved.
Size ranges for different genders also differ. Women's jeans sizes start at 24 inches and end at 32. Men's models start at 28 and end at 44 inches. Properly selected jeans should fit tightly on the waist and hips, not gather into folds and not hinder movement.

Jeans can be both an element of a basic wardrobe and stand out with a bright, unusual design. If we consider this item of clothing as part of an everyday look, then men will prefer variations of blue - from light blue to indigo, sometimes black. Women's casual jeans can also be sand or gray. They can be combined with absolutely different things - a T-shirt, shirt, blouse, jacket. Men's are perfectly complemented by a pullover or jacket that matches the color. Women can wear sports shoes, sandals or ballet flats with long jeans. Men prefer to complement the look with sneakers, boots or discreet shoes in a sporty style.
Both women's and men's jeans can be decorated with decorative elements. In the men's version, these are rivets, spikes, chains, eyelets. Women's options for decoration are much wider: these are rhinestones, beads, embroidery, multi-colored patches, lace stripes.
Any jeans are decorated with scuffs and color transitions. Here the variety of shades can be even greater: bright jeans of all possible colors are sewn for girls. Men can also experiment with color (it can be green or brown), but in general, they stick to dark tones.

The most common jeans are straight cut. They are appreciated by both men and women for their versatility and simplicity. Skinny jeans are also suitable for young men and women. They highlight the advantages of the figure, make the legs visually longer and slimmer. It is impossible to imagine modern hipster culture without young people in skinny jeans with cuffs that reveal the ankles.
Forgotten but coming back into fashion, flared jeans are reminiscent of the hippie era. Such models are more popular with the fair sex, but there are also men who appreciate the good old flare.
Ripped jeans look rebellious and bold on guys and girls - from simple cuts on the knees to turning the pants into frayed threads, connected by seams here and there. This look suits rock stars or their fans, although it has long ceased to be shocking or outrageous.
