Over time, the cocked hat went out of fashion, and was replaced by the bicorne.

It is similar in appearance to a cap, but has a denser structure and eight corners. There is a small fabric button in the center of the crown. It is most often worn with skinny jeans or trousers, denim shirts.

A baseball cap is the most common accessory for men. It has a soft rounded shape and a dense visor extended forward. The latter part protects the face from the sun's rays. The forehead area is usually decorated with some kind of logo. There is a retainer on the back of the head that allows you to change the volume of the baseball cap and adjust it to the size of your head.

The cap is primarily associated with the military and Ostap Bender. It includes a band, a crown and a visor. Initially, the latter part was made of genuine leather, but now it is made of shiny plastic. This style of hat is a provocative accessory for strong, determined men, suitable for a casual style.

How to choose

When choosing a headdress, first of all, you should focus on the shape of your face. In this regard, people with an oval face type are the luckiest, since all types of hats will suit them. People with a rectangular shape should choose accessories with wide brims and a low crown. Cloches and fedoras will look ideal. Long hats should not be worn - they will only increase the size of the face.

On square faces, the hat is designed to remove angularity. It is preferable to use models with rounded brims and crowns. They will make sharp features softer and also slightly elongate the face.

People with a round face should try to lengthen it a little. Caps with visors, fedoras, and baseball caps are good in this regard. The triangular shape is similar to the oval in many ways, and all types of hats will suit it too.
