Every girl has a few tights that are no longer suitable for use. There is no need to rush to throw them away. Each housewife decides for herself how exactly to use used stockings, based on personal preferences.

Preparatory stage

Regardless of how exactly old nylon tights will be used, they need to be prepared for work in advance. First of all, the item needs to be washed, and this applies even to those tights that have simply been lying in the closet for a long time. This will not only help clean the item from dust and small dirt, but will also give the fabric a pleasant aroma.

The second step is to inspect the stockings for holes and snags. Problem areas need to be cut off, as most crafts require a whole piece. But for some use cases, a product that has already been darned is also suitable, for example, when making a cover for a broom. It is worth considering that in everyday life you can find use for stockings of different shades, not only flesh-colored or black, but also colored.

Aromatic sachets

Almost every apartment has a specific unpleasant smell from time to time, and special aerosols and air fresheners are used to combat it. 2. Storing vegetables. Old tights can be filled with apples, onions, garlic or other products. Since the material is transparent, the housewife will immediately see what is in the net. This way, the product will stay fresh for a long time.
3. Cover for a broom. The handle should be completely covered with a nylon stocking, leaving only the broom. This way the device will last much longer and will not crumble.
4. Vacuum cleaner filter. If beads have scattered, the vacuum cleaner tube should be wrapped in a stocking and turned on to the minimum mode. All the beads will remain on the mesh, after which they can be carefully collected.
